Queer Fam Pride Jam at Millennium Park 6/2

  • Millennium Park 201 East Randolph Street Chicago, IL, 60601 United States (map)

The Slo ‘Mo x Kido Queer Fam Pride Jam RETURNS! Hosted by HBO’s We’re Here cast member and Canada’s Drag Race winner Priyanka, we’re kicking off Pride Month by celebrating LGBTQ+ families and allies at the iconic Millennium Park as we kick off Chicago House Music Fest.

Start off the day with Ms. Rachel breakout star Jules for sing-a-long, get moving with Boogie McClarin and Fabulous Freddie for house dance and vogue lessons, cheer on Chicago superstars at the drag spectacular curated by Abhijeet and get your groove on to sounds by Slo ‘Mo DJs Icey Bby and VITIGRRL. There’s a whole bunch of all ages activities to enjoy, like artmaking, drag makeovers, a mini kids gym, crawlie corner and more from 10am-1pm at the North Promenade tent before we make a giant Pride procession over to Pritzker Pavilion for DJ Lori Branch as she kicks off the House Music Fest program at 1pm!

Our second annual Pride Jam is once again FREE thanks to the incredible collaboration of our presenting partners DCASE and Lululemon, as well as generous community support from @properties & Erin Feinerman Real Estate, Incite Dance, Brush Park Gym, Block Club Chicago, Bronzeville Orthodontics, Easel Art Studio, the Center on Halsted.

This production is MOM POWERED! Festival Co-Directors and party moms Keewa Nurullah of Kido and Kristen Kaza of Slo ‘Mo, in partnership with Event Producer Ginny Cook are a tiny but mighty team on a mission to support LGBTQ+ families, kids and their loved ones. If you want to make a contribution, you can add a donation to your RSVP. Interested in volunteering or vending in the small biz marketplace? Visit queerfampridejam.com for all the details!
